A run of bad luck

We have had our share of bad luck this month and I don't think a four leaf clover could have helped. To start it all off the begining of this month our car broke down we took it in and found out that it needs a new motor and it was going to cost $6,000 to fix it and we still owe $2,000 on the car so we decied to pay off the car and buy a new one. We are now the proud owner of a 2007 chevy impala (Red) we really like it alot (thank you sooo much Mom and Dad Hane for the down payment). Just when we think things are going to be o.k. we have round two of the flu, and then our computer went out (thats why I have not put any pictures on our blog) anyway Troy thinks its the hard drive and fixes it for about a day and then it starts acting funny again and now it doesn't work at all. I think its time to just buy a new one. Oh yeah did I mention that Troy got a pink slip form his school so he may not have a job there next year. Luckly it was just a lay off notice and not a non rehire like some teachers got. We are just praying that he finds a job at a different school or gets his job back. Friday Troy is getting his wisdom teeth removed and then he is going to attempt to go to Woodleaf on Sunday and stay there for a week. We will see how that works out. Hopefully things will settle down and we can get back to normal until next time.

A NEW FAMILY MEMBER

ITS A BOY!!

YESTERDAY WE WENT TO THE SPCA IN OROVILLE TO GET OUR NEW PUPPY "MOLLY" WELL WHEN WE ARRIVED THERE WAS ANOTHER FAMILY THERE AFTER THE SAME DOG AND OUR LUCK THEY WERE THERE FIRST AND KEEP IN MIND THAT WE ARRIVED AT 7:25 am AND THE SPCA DOES NOT EVEN OPEN UNTIL 8am. ANYWAY WHEN WE GOT IN THE BUILDING THE ATTENDANT SAID WE WOULD HAVE TO DRAW NAMES FOR THE DOG, WE DID AND THE OTHER FAMILY GOT PICKED. THE GIRLS FELL APART AND STARTED CRYING AND SO DID I. THEN THE LADY TOLD US THAT SHE HAD A MALE PUPPY FROM THE SAME LITTER THAT WAS READY TO GO AS WELL, WE DECIDED TO LOOK AT HIM AND WE ALL FELL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY. SO NOW WE ARE THE PROUD PARENTS OF "MAX" THE SWEETEST LITTLE YELLOW LAB MIX IN THE WORLD. MARISSA AND CALLIE ARE SO IN LOVE WITH HIM AND HE IS SO SWEET AND MELLOW. LAST NIGHT WAS A LITTLE ROUGH UNTIL I PUT HIM IN A BOX NEXT TO MY BED AND THEN HE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT. SINCE WE HAD PLANNED ON A GIRL DOG POOR MAX HAS A PINK AND BROWN BED AND A PINK COLLAR AND PINK TOYS BUT HE DOES NOT SEEM TO MIND. I WILL POST SOME PHOTOS OF HIM WHEN I CAN.

Bidwell Park

My sister-in-law took the kids to Bidwell Park and we had a picknick and went for a walk and let the kids ride their scooters and bikes on the paths, we also let the babies break in their new cars that we got them for their birthday. We had a really fun time.
