Merry Christmas

This is what our house looked like after all the gifts were opened and we actually cleaned up as we went. Don't worry no one was harmed during this gift exchange. :)

Santa deilivered Callies Pee-Pee in the potty doll she was so excited.

The girls were so excited to open gifts Christmas morning.

Callie got a drum set from Grammie! Thanks Gram.

This is the last photo she did not know what else to do but cry because she couldn't believe that she go a Wii.

Here she is still excited but the shock is starting to kick in.

These pictures are in the wrong order this is the first photo, Marissa got a Nintendo Wii from Grammie and Poppie. She was so happy if you scroll up you will see her reaction just a few minutes after she opened it.

Callie was so excited over the gloves that her big cousin Carson got her. It wasn't until we got home that we realized that she thought they were pink "fighting gloves"

Marissa was so excited about the new bedroom set that Nanna and Poppa got her. Now we get to paint while we are on vacation.

Enjoy Santa

The girls and I made cookies for Santa yesterday and they actually did all the work, Marissa is good at measuring now and Callie likes to mix so it works out great. Enjoy Santa we hope you like them.

lights. lights and more lights

My wonderful husband took the girls and I to Rocklin to see the amazing Christmas light display. Some of the houses were set to music and the kids were amazed. There were so many cars, limos and trucks full of people as well as all the folks who decides to take a closer look and walk the entire neighborhood. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Daddy for taking us.

A busy Saturday

We had a fun-filled Saturday, first we went to a book sale where we met up with Clifford the dog which was a big hit with Callie. She got a Clifford book and had him sign it. Then we went to a park in Loomis where Troy and a bunch of his friends decided to play football and pretend that they are not as old as they are. The girls and I had fun playing and exploring the park while Daddy played.

Visit with Santa, Then and Now

We have come a long way since our first visit with Santa. This year Callie was not afraid at all in fact she had a million questions for Santa, the best of which was "Why are you not so fat?" Santa pretended that he did not hear and I helped out be telling Callie it was time to go.

Your welcome Santa!! Just remember who helped you out of that sticky situation.

Its begining to look alot like Christmas

The tree is up and all the decorations inside and out so we are officially ready for the Christmas season. Callie and Marissa did a really good job putting up the ornaments this year (of course I had to move some of them after they went to bed) Troy got all the lights up outside and all the Christmas shopping is now done so this year I am going to try to relax and enjoy the rest of this Christmas. THE KEY WORD THERE IS TRY!!! :)

Mommy and Me day

I try to take each one of the girls by themselves for a Mommy and Me day once a month, this month for Marissa's Mommy and Me day we decided to get our nails done, its is so much more fun now that she is getting older and is starting to like nails, pedicures, shopping all the fun girl stuff. After we were finished with our nails ( and yes she got real nails not just polish, she was so excited) we did lunch at our spot, Strings Italian restaurant and then we did some Christmas shopping. We had such a wonderful time together talking, laughing and enjoying each others company. Thank you Cami for a wonderful time, the nails look great as always.
