This is the start of my journey to becoming a photographer....

Marissa has spent hours playing her Wii since Christmas eve. She got the Wii fit from Santa and it is one of her favorite games to play. Anyone who has played knows that before you can start playing all you info has to get put into your chart, height, weight, etc.... then you get your Wii fit age which for most of us in the family was not good. Marissa started out at a Wii fit age of 28. I could not believe it when she decided to check her chart and she had lost 1.5 pounds and went down to a Wii fit age of 19. Anyone who knows us knows that we have really had to watch Marissa's weight, she does not lose easily. We have watched what she ate and exercised and she may only loose 1.5 pounds in a month and she lost it in only 6 days without changing her diet. So I just want to say THANK YOU to who ever came up with this idea. My daughter lost 1.5 lbs in six days playing video games?? Figure that one out.

We spent New years eve at home playing games and watching movies. I had to take Callie to bed at about 10pm and I fell asleep as well. Marissa and Troy stayed up but only Marissa rang in the new year. Poor thing Troy fell asleep at about 11pm as she brought in the new year all by herself. Troy did wake up about 12:05 when out neighbors let off the fire works. We did have out traditional new years breakfast in the morning. The girls look forward to this because we get out the fancy glasses and have sparkling cider. We did not do anything exciting but we were all together. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
