Kourtney 1 month old

Kourtney is getting so big!! I think she weighs about 12 lbs now. She is starting to hold her head up more and trying to make some noises. She is so sweet and beautiful she has stolen all of our hearts. We just love her more and more every day.

Well here she is the worlds most beautiful baby. My girls and I are completely in love. She is so sweet. I can't wait for her to get home so we can really get our hands on her. Congrats Chuckie and Dixie you did good she is beautiful.

My brother and his wife had their baby last night every one is doing well and the baby is so cute I will post pics when I get them.

Field Trips

Marissa's class went to pioneer days in Paradise and they did every thing the old fashioned way. They dressed like pioneers and made candles, cooked over an open fire and made lunch for the whole class. They went to school in a one room school house where Troy was the teacher for the day. They made dolls out of corn husks and built a loom for weaving. It was a very long day but she had a lot of fun.




Callie's pre-school class went to the wild life park in Durham. The seen all kinds of large animals a lion which roared for the kids and they were so shocked at how loud it was. They seen tigers and lots of other animals. They got to pet some reptiles and much to my surprise Callie touched every single one of them. When I asked her what the snakes felt like she told me that they were sweaty. She had a blast and slept all the way home.

Little Fish

Callie and Marissa both love the water so much. They have been swimming almost every day since the weather got warm. They would stay in the pool all day if you let them. I have to bribe them with ice cream to get them out and even that does not always work. I guess I know where our summer is going to be spent.

Baby Time

My cousin Becky on the left and my sister-in-law Dixie are both due in June. Dixie is due on the 5th and Becky is due on the 18th. I am so excited to be an auntie again, this is my brothers first baby and my first niece or nephew (we don't know the sex of the baby) on my side of the family. I cant wait until the little bundle gets here, we are all just trying to be patient while we sit and wait for the moment to arrive. Callie and Marissa are also very excited, they both want to be at the hospital when the baby is born, hopefully it will not be on a school night (even that probably wont keep them from going). Hurry up sweet baby we can't wait to meet you :)

Marissa played first base this week for the first time and she was really good. She even got someone out which then put her on such a high that I could not get her to settle down to go to bed. Way To Go Boo!!! You were great.

Today Callie played catcher for the first time and she did really well.
