Time flys

Wow, has it really been since January that I updated my blog. Alot has happened in a few months. Lets see I tried being a stay at home mom when I lost my job due to the closure of the charter school and I almost lost my mind!! I love my children with all my heart but I have to hand it to all you moms out there who stay at home with your kids. As for me I was more exausted and way less organized than when I worked five days a week. Well I am back to work know I took my old job back at Biggs High School in the In School Suspension, it sounds horrible I know but I actually enjoy the kids even if they are in trouble. Its nice to talk to someone besides a three year old during the day and this job is only three days a week and I choose to work Tues, Wed, and Thurs. that way I have a four day weekend every week (smart thinking huh!!) Anyway then Troy and I both had the worst flu ever. I seriously thought I was going to die!! He got it first and of corse I thought he was over reacting and threatened to send him to his moms house until he felt better, oh and I made him sleep on the couch, well little did I know that three days later I would come down with the same flu and it was the worst sickness I have ever had, not only did I have a feaver of 103 I had the chills and sweats, and not to mention it felt like I was swallowing glass every time I swallowed. I managed to recover alot quicker than Troy, who was home for almost a week. So yesterday I had to send him an email apoligizing for not taking care of him like a good wife should. He was very sweet to me when I was sick and continued to let me sleep in the bed and kept checking to see if I needed anything, which made me feel even worse when I realized how badly I treated him when he felt so terrible. Now that everyone is on the recovery and back to work we are looking on the bigger and better things. We have spring break comming up, this where both of us working for schools is nice we have the same breaks and vacations, anyway we are looking forward to spending some time doing something fun with our girls. We are also in the process of adopting a new member to our family (no not a baby) but close we are going to be getting a new puppie soon. Her name will be Molly the girls named her all by themselves and I was surprised that they agreed so easily on a name. She is a Yellow Lab Retrever / German Sheppard, we are very excited and once again the girls in the house took the vote, Troy said when we get a puppie it will be a boy to even things out, but as you can tell by the name, Molly is a GIRL!!
Sorry sweetie but now you are out numbered 4-1. We have not gotten her yet but everyone is already in love. Marissa and Callie have me call the SPCA at least once a week to check in and see how she is doing. Just when you think that there could'nt be more, After spring break we will be saying good bye to Troy for a week he will be spending a fun filled week in Woodleaf with his 6th grade class. Then we will celebrating Marissa 8th birthday, WOW time flys!! I can't believe that she is going to be 8, she is such a sweet well-rounded sometimes dramatic young lady but I wouldnt have her any other way. She is playing Chess now and has attended several tournaments, she is pretty good she beats me every time we play. Callie is just Callie what can you say she is a funny, energetic, sweet Mommies girl. She can not wait until summer or at least some really nice weather, the rain makes her crazy. She wants to go camping with Grammie and Poppie and she cant wait to go water skiing with Nanna and Poppa, Poppa (Warren, Troy's dad) says that she is going to be his little water skier the older kids Carson and Marissa do not like to ski or tube that much, lets just say last year they pretty much freaked out while Callie would have tubed all day. Hopefully this updates everyone, Im at work right now (some job huh) so I will try to get some photos on here soon.
